Hello my name is Macie Leila McPherson and I am 7 and a 1/2 years old. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved to bake and cook! On my sixth birthday party I had a candy land birthday and I made a candy land cake with my dad and it was delicious. I always said to my dad ‘‘daddy can I help make dinner and because I loved making cakes I started to watch Cake Boss. When I was seven years old I watched cooking and baking shows one was Barefoot Contessa. It told me how to make caramels so I tried to make them and they turned out great. The next time tried it I made a mistake and it turned out as hard as a rock. So I tried another recipe and it turned out as hard as a rock again. Finally we found one that worked out great! It was chewey and delicious and thats the one I am giving to you !!!

I also want to help the Earth, so I started an ethical leadership project at school with two of my friends Rachel and Sarah. So I am donating some of the proceeds from my store to OCEANA and the RED CROSS. OCEANA is a organization that helps the oceans stay clean and keeps marine animals safe. RED CROSS helps people when bad things happen to them. Like Hurricane Sandy. My Cousins live in NJ.
